WordPress started as blogging software and has evolved into a powerful and versatile Content Management System (CMS). With WordPress most of the complex programming is cut out of the picture and replaced with a simple What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) Editor that allows even someone with only a rudimentary knowledge of computers to add pages, post updates, change the look, and many other options all without the need for asprin.
How, you ask, can this be so simple? What’s the catch? How’s it work? Well first of all, there is no catch, and it works like this… You come to me with an idea of what you want your site to look like and what kind of content you want to feature on it. We then go through an extensive library of Themes, which are pre-made layouts for WordPress sites. We find a theme that you like or best fits your needs and then customize it to order. Then we use the WordPress WYSIWYG interface to create all the pages of your site with their content and volià! Your website is complete!
The final step is to introduce you, the customer, to the WordPress interface so that you have the power to change the content whenever you have to, without paying for a web developer. After that it’s all done!
